  • Global Timeshare Resale scam or not?

I've been recently contacted by a company called Global Timeshare Resale and they said that they will sell my timeshare and no fee right now until someone is interested in buying it. A few days later they have told me that someone is interested and I need to send them the processing fee of $899. Has anyone heard of this company? This is their website XXXXXXXXXX

I tried calling it a couple of times and left a message but no call back.
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I removed your link to My G Resale since we do not want to give them a free ad.

I would bet a timeshare that it is a Scam, If it is not tell them they can have there fee at the closing or after the person sends in the depoisit, If the deposit is not enough to cover there fee then you will send them a portion of there fee and the rest when you have your money.

The rule should be to assume it's a scam until proven otherwise. If you sent them the money, they would just say the deal fell through and that they will actively market the week for the price you paid. Then you will never hear from them again.

They have told me that the people interested in it has already put 20% down payment, which I cannot prove of course. Me not thinking I sent the money they asked for. I guess all I can do is wait for them to actually reply if not then I just got scammed.

I think they will hear from you before you hear from them, if you can even still find them. If you paid by credit card, you might try screaming fraud.

Companies do not ask for up front fees from the seller EVER if they are legit. Why would they, the company & the seller will be getting their share of the money from the money that the buyer will be giving them.

The only reason to ask the seller to pay up front is if the buyer isn't real.

THEY ARE THE BIGGEST SCAM! They got my money only it was $999.00 over a year ago! Do not use them PLEASE! She claimed she had a buyer and then all of a sudden they backed out. Every week it was the same thing until I finally realized she screwed me. If you here from them again, just hang the phone up, QUICK!!!!!!!
