When are RCI catalogues received?

Hi everyone,

I'm still very new at this and finally received my RCI membership card last week.

But now I'm wondering, how long does it take them to send the catalogues out? We have the north american catalogue from last year but we would like to receive the new one as well as the ones for Europe and Asia (or that might just be one- I don't know as I've never seen them).

Have the 2010 catalogues been released? And if so, do they typically send their members all the catalogues?

Incidently- is someone here a member of RCI that has a good understanding of how it works that would not mind being privately messaged with some newbie questions? I'm finding this whole process difficult and would like some non-biased advice and answers.

RCI has been changing this policy in the past few years, and I do not know what the policy actually is. Therefore, what I will tell you is, don't hold your breath. I do think we got a new one last year, far slimmer than any previously, and thought some of the banter was members would receive one every three years.

Were I you, I would call RCI directly to request one. Otherwise, I can not say with any certainly that one is forthcoming. If you have a recent one, it's probably close enuf.

Thank you for the reply. We do have one but it has no details for resorts outside of North America. I will contact RCI to ask them.

There's info online at rci.com about the resorts. We prefer to use that instead of the paper book.

They stopped including non-US with the last edition. You might not get far with that request.

Oh well, I asked anyways and I'll see what they say.

It's the least of my concerns anyways as I doubt we'll ever have trading power to go there anyways...

Oh, I don't know. Trading power is tricky in RCI and tradeups are still possible. If you are seeking places around the globe with ample timeshares, it's quite possible to get there.
