rikkis_playpen - That link is actually the timeshare I am intersted in. Please don't go buy it out from under me!!!
I'm not sure how this thread got on Orlando but I really appreciate all the responses to this thread.
I've research numerous website for TS at the St. James and they all seem pretty much the same proce or much higher. I spoke with the Real estate agent on Friday and it seems like Colorado handles TS sales like any other real estate transaction. It sounds very easy.

Now, I just have to come up with a reasonable dollar amount for the offer.

Any suggestions as to what to offer? half? 25% of the listed price?

We have three weeks, one resale and two via a quiet title action by an association, and they were all handled by real estate people/title companies. We have had the resale week for 17 or 18 years and the other two for ten.

Any suggestions as to what to offer? half? 25% of the listed price?
If there's a lower price for the same thing, which I believe was indicated, that would be a figure you could justify.

        Follw Up

I wanted to make a quick reply and let everyone know that I ended up getting a GREAT deal on a St, James Place timeshare. We actually close tomorrow.

The real estate agents says this is the lowest price ever. I wanted to thank all of you for your input, you saved me a good chunk of money. I am really looking forward to our trip there in November.

I didn't want to boast but it was $5k even including the 2010 maintenance fees which were about 1900.
