I teach Chemistry. (among other things, but mainly chemistry.) Hard to figure that one out, eh?

By the way, after reading through the whole thread, I'm thinking Bruce is jealous of his friends who are 500+ posters, and he is trying to catch up. (Heck, he's already in the 100+ posts club!!)

My name is Quarterbore because there are just too many Ken's in the world... As for hiding behind an alias, you can learn more about me then I would want anybody to know with a simple search in any search engine!

I have use the name Quarterbore on-line since the early 1990s and far more people know me as QB then know my real name. I named myself after a rifle cartridge as at the time I was an active competitive shooter. These days I pretend to be a webmaster

Mine is very simple. JWC are my initials. I use my full first and last name on TUG. I have other more creative user names on other forums I participate in.

I hhave to laugh as years ago when I joined tug as Shagnut, BruceUK asked me to please change my name as it offended people from England. No I am not a nymphomaniac. I offered to change it and when he realized what it meant he asked me not to. Shagnut or Shaggy comes from the dance started at No MB years ago. It is played to Carolina Beach music which I love to listen to since I can't dance too much anymore since I broke my foot. Shaggy

Mine is boring, my initials and last name. I wish I had come up with something clever like other people have.

I love the surf, sand, and especially the Caribbean. Spousal unit of 34 years thinks I can be crabby at times. Thus "Sandcrab!"

Okay, my name is inspired by my children, three Beagles: Dixie (R.I.P), Scooter and Lucy.
I wanted to have "ilovethosewonderfulredsoxandhatethosedamnyank ees" but decided it wasn't worth the eventual carpal tunnel syndrome, however, my

After reading this thread, I have decided I will never meet Bruce in person.

I live in California, my name is Dave.. I'm sure that was tough to figure out.

                            It's where I dwell

10 years ago we were looking for our spot to retire. We couldn't find a decent place on some acreage within our price range but found the perfect 2 acre spot with an old barn. Bought it, spent way too much money to convert the barn into a great retirement place. Still haven't been able to retire because of all the money spent on timeshare travel, etc. and the 5 year plan somehow expanded into the 15 year plan. But we love where we live and we love timesharing and we love dwelling in our barn. So "life is good."

Nah, Buckner made the most horrific fielding error ever, - Youch, glove to the ground, glove to the ground(even I know that one and I throw like a girl) !!! Let's not forget that he was playing injured, too, whereas Arod did THE most deliberate & unsportmanlike, not to mention absolutely cheap play (as well as a sorry attempt at cheating, even the Babe Ruth kids wouldn't pull that ) ever in MLB history (IMO). Arod couldn't even hold Buckner's jockstrap. You can have the best HR, RBIs and a .500 average. etc., but if you have no integrity then you're nothing.

Yes, that's him with his purse , bitch-slapping the ball out of Arroyo's hand preserved forever in my avatar and in memory. It is what it is , pathetic.

Your life may be better served by never meeting Bruce(CZ) in person. It is not a pretty picture. Bruce is a combintion of Don Rickles and Don Juan. Thankfully, I saw mostly the Don Rickles side.
