When I was a baby, my cousin who was 20 months old could not say Phyllis, the "Phyll" tripped her up and she started saying "Pittle". That has been my family nickname ever since.

I did not really believe this story until I worked with toddlers at my church and the little ones could not say Phyllis - they would come up with a version that sounded more like Pittle, so I guess it is true.

I am not a native Californian, but am thrilled to live here now. Didn't realize that to folks out here, "Cal" is UC Berkeley. I have never attended "Cal" but proudly wear its name. Calgal

I use to use the screen name Thirsty many years ago. It fit my last name of Drinkwater. As the Internet grew, when I would sign up for things the username Thirty was taken sometimes. So it got to the point I had several user names and it was difficult to remember which ones to use.

I figured I needed a username that would be unique. Looking around the room I saw an RCI book and the letters RCI jumped out at me. So I tried rci…taken, rci1 taken,…rci12 taken,…rci123 taken,…rci124 worked. I use rci124 for all my internet logins and for years it has worked and I never forget it.

However if I could get my username changed to Thirsty for the timeshare forums I belong to I would. I just don’t like the username rci124 for timeshare forums. Maybe I should create new accounts with Thirsty as a username. Boy is this getting long and windy.

            Cute story!

Little ones can't manage Lawren well either. My oldest nephew dubbed me "lolly". So Aunt Lollie I remain.
