Most people with this attitude are not nearly as important as they think they are.
No not BC, that was Beach Club.

Disney doesn't seem to care that I park there since I am eating in their restaurants so I appreciate your concern but just yesterday I went to AKV and had lunch in Sanaa for $90. Then we hopped the bus to Epcot. Neither Disney drivers nor staff cared one bit that we parked for free at the resort.
It's one of those perks that is little known just like knowing how to work the system with RCI or II is to us TS4M people. Sorry if I've offended you by discussing anything not to your liking.

If you ever bought full price from a developer, this could work.
Only developer purchase was Disney and I know I am definetely certifiably insane and could use a good lawyer.

I;ve never taken my Mater & Monkey on a vacation and it costs a fortune to board them or get a housesitter, altho I would love to. I'd like to see M&M romp at the beach.

I wouldn't dare as I did take them to a motel that approved dogs and there was an "accident" in the room upon which y'all gave me h--- about. BTW, I don't want to hear anything more about that incident. It just goes to show what can happen when we take our "children" somewhere. shaggy

We just got back from a trip. Ten days for Steffi in a kennel suite (she is a princess) and the bill came to $417. Yes, this is darned expensive, but taking her to a resort and leaving her in the unit would not be right, not for us as owners, or the next people in the unit, but also not right for her to be left in an unfamiliar location while we go out and enjoy a day trip.

3 Options in FL. That's interesting. I didn't know any of them allowed the pooches. Next time I get a dog I'll keep it in mind.

Unfortunately I don't see a dog in my future for a loooooooooooong time.
At least til I retire in 7 years.

For example, I vaguely recall reading that Silverleaf no longer allows pets, system wide.

That's a good reason to verify. My data was from Jan. 08 and as we all know, things change.

I'm surprised that with so many dog owners no developer has bothered to tackle this market.

Has anyone tried to do this by making a micro system within a macro system. A special club with certain units maybe? I'd think there would be a market for this as so many people are not having kids and just have dogs or kitties like me.

I know many of the upscale condos in my town (non-TS) have now put in dog parks or allow dogs. Used to be a no dogs allowed town but now we've got them everywhere. I know it would be a hit with my friends.

I used to rent my house out on Martha's Vineyard and would allow dogs, but would require a damage deposit. I could not allow cats as I had one that sprayed and it took more than the damage deposit to clean the rug and woodwork.
