  • Underbuilt timeshare areas

Where do you think that timeshares are currently located that they are underbuilt?

I'd like to see more TS in the New England area, Hershey, PA and the Jersey shore (outside of Atlantic City). Also, I don't think there are any TS in Alaska, but it would be nice to have them there!

      The Hamptons....LI.

The only timeshare that I know of is Gurney's, and I don't think it's going to be there much longer.

Also.....FireIsland, & Lk George, NY. NY in general can use more timeshares, IMO.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Urban areas like Los Angeles, NYC, Washington DC, Boston, Chicago, Dallas and other cities with attractions, colleges, etc.

        Alaska.

Urban Europe: Madrid, Barcelona, Vienna, London, Edinburgh, Paris, Rome, Cairo, Budapest, Moscow, St. Peterburg (all wishful thinking here).

Other: Prince Edward Island, Montreal, New Brunswick.

Wishful thinking: St. Bart's (just one)

Oregon Coast, demand is far greater than availability out here.

Bermuda, although I recently read on a website that crime against tourists was pretty bad there.

This was mentioned previously, I'd also like to see more timeshares available in some of the bigger cities.

                        Major European cities

It seems that most of the European availability is in vacationy spots like the Canary Islands. I'd like to see more in more in London, Paris, Rome, Prague, Berlin, etc.

Carolinian: Many folks think Sanibel Island and its neighbor, Captiva, have too many timeshares. These Islands could be listed in the "overbuilt" thread.

johnsorg: I've been told that Bermuda had such trouble with timeshares that they are now outlawed there.

How about Cuba? Anyone own a timeshare there?

If they are full, they are not overbuilt so unless there is high availabilty on Sanibel and captive they are not overbuilt. There are timeshares in Cuba-either complete or under construction or both.
