    Hi again,
New question here. The developer whom we bought from in Las vegas (Consolidated) and are now rescinding, told us that we would get 12 bonus weeks that would give us discounts at II's resorts if we wanted to buy extra time. This would be if we wanted more than the two weeks annually we woudl get from trades for our timeshare. Is this something I can just get by buying an II membership, or is there something else the developer was offering me that I won't get if I buy resale?

Thanks. This is so helpful for me as I am so new to this.

Congrats on rescinding....and whoa hold your horses.

Congrats on rescinding....and whoa hold your horses. Don't be in a huge rush to buy resale either...take your time and research, read, read, read, and keep asking questions.

Go to the II site and look at the Getaways......but don't restrict yourself to just II...try looking at everything available.

Check out this link as well for RCI last minute rentals.

You need to start a different thread and really introduce yourself and tell us what you are really looking for....how you vacation, where you like to go, kids or no kids with vacation schedule restrictions etc, unit size needs, extended family going, etc etc. There are so many things to consider before you buy to be sure you get what you really want.

Bonus weeks with II can be of several varieties and developers use them as perks for their sales sometimes. Their value varies with their terms. Good traders at high demand resorts and times can also get a bonus week for depositing them with II. Bonus weeks are usually only good if you can travel off season or on short notice or both and their value depends on their restrictions. They are certainly not usually worth buying a week from a developer for.
