    Nope

While laundry facilities in the unit is preferable, even having them available on the premises is okay.

What I really want is a kitchen though. We tend to eat breakfast in most of the time and sometimes lunches and dinners as well.

I completely agree ~ a HOT TUB on site is a must too!!

For us there is only 1 deal breaker- no pool.

Before kids DH and I really didn't care if hotels we visited even had pools. But now with 2 kids that are like fish the pool is a MAJOR factor for us. We take into consideration the features it has, such as if its indoor in cooler weather, or in warmer weather we like to see: slides, water playground, beach entry, waterfalls, etc., A good pool keeps our boys happy and busy, and when they're happy and busy, mom and dad are happy.

We like to visit in So Cal a lot, but we will not consider many of the smaller So Cal resorts that Interval has if they don't have a pool, even if they have beach access. The beach is awesome, but a pool is priceless for us.

A full kitchen, laundry facilities and restaurant are all big pluses, but not necessary.

I wonder if they will charge me double if I have two cars???

Not sure about that. I did take their tour and got a $100 Visa card that put a big dent in the $112 weekly parking charge.

Our favorite resorts by far are those that have all the amenities of a luxury hotel resort. The Grand Mayans are our favorites as they fit the bill completely. However, location also plays a big part on what we want.

            1. Gym - not at all important as we never use it.
            2. Kitchen - not important at all as long as there is a refrigerator.
            3. Laundry - in unit is preferable but on-site laundry will work. All our vacations are typically 2 weeks. Lack of laundry facility was not important at the Manhattan Club in NYC as there is a Cleaner just a block away that washes and folds your clothes for a very reasonable price.
            4. In unit Internet access not at all important as I never take my laptop on vacation.
            5. Restaurant(s) - very important whether they are on-site or within easy walking distance. Definitely like to have room service available. Grand Mayans have several on-site restaurants and also room service. If we are staying in a downtown location with lots of restaurants out the door than on-site restaurant is not important.
            6. Parking - Not at all important as we don't use a car on vacation.
            7. Pool(s) - Very important unless we are at an urban property.
            8. Housekeeping - Daily preferred.
