  • Anyone heard of The Timeshare Space company (Trying to sell Westgate Smoky Mountains)

I want to sell my 2 bdrm lockout with Westgate Smoky Mountains and this company The Timeshare Space, LLC contacted me saying they sell them in bulk to companies and could sell mine within 90 days. I don't know how legit it is but I've heard that you shouldn't pay upfront fees. They started off asking for $695 and I said I wouldn't pay that and got them down to $350. If they are willing to do that, how legit can it be. Anyone had an experience with them. Or know where I can sell this timeshare?

There are no companies out there buying timeshares in bulk? What reason would they have to buy timeshares in bulk? Or even to buy one timeshare?

This is a well-known line that has been crafted to make people think it's legitimate. When pressed on the point, the reply might be that companies buy timeshares to house their employees who are traveling. But that falls apart on further thought. First, timeshares simply won't work for corporate travel purposes - not enough locations where business travelers actually go, too much uncertainty that a person would actually be able to make a reservation for the nights needed, etc.

Then, if there were a situation in which a company had enough travel at a given locale to justify having some time of owned accommodations, the company still wouldn't buy a timeshare because just renting a furnished apartment would be much cheaper than buying a enough weeks in a timeshare to make it useful for housing employees regularly at a location.
“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

    “You shouldn't wear that body.”

Once you give them your money, you'll never hear from them again.

You can post for your TS in our classified area. As for any company asking you for money to sell it, run away as far and as fast you can from such a company.
Life is short, live it with this awareness.
