    Has anyone had an issue with Diamond Resorts and failed recognition of payments?

    No, but I've been making my payments online. That way I can see that they're in the pending payment status until they're credited. It sometimes takes them several days to move the payment from pending to credited on my account. They always been listed as pending from the moment I hit the submit butten. One other good thing about making online payments is you get a receipt for that payment instantly that can be printed out.

      We did the same thing with our maintenance fee...I spoke with the London office (that's here I was directed) and they verified payment, but somewhere in the USA they believe we have never paid.

      I am so ready to unload this place!

        How did you pay? Check or Credit Card that will be your prove of payment.

          It was the on-line method they use, drafted from our bank.

          The bank draft is logged...we keep getting ugly letters and calls.

            You need to join the U.S. Yahoo DRI group and give a shout out to Patrick Duffy. Patrick is a DRI employee that has the power and connections to get things fixed pretty quick.

              When we pay our MF in December (by check), it takes about two months to be posted on the online account as "paid." The accounting office must be a one-man band. They certainly don't waste time telling you when you owe money! Let's not even get into the forced "voluntary" ARDA contribution they tack on to the annual fees.

                You don't have to pay that. Just pay $5 less.

                  I've tried that. It shows up as a balance due and by the end of the year, I've gotten notices that my account is overdue and I will not be allowed to make reservations. One year I simply let it go and they simply folded it into the billing. I've had all kinds of promises that it would be removed from the bill. No one ever made that happen, even after several phone calls, e-mails and talking to sales reps at owner updates.

                    Yeah - if you don't pay it it shows up on your account as unpaid, along with verbage that it's overdue and you can't make reservations.

                    I've ignored it the message, and I've still been able to make reservations. And they make no effort to collect it.

                    A couple of weeks ago I was speaking with one of the guides on the phone, and mentioned that it needed to get taken care. He said "No problem. I'll take care of that right now." About 30 seconds later he said it was taken care of. I checked on-line while we were still on the phone, and it was gone.
                    “Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

                    “This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

                    “You shouldn't wear that body.”
