Me thinks they protest too much and are most likely sitting on a bunch of time they want to sell an are trying to hype the prices.

Sadly you'll have to work to find someone to even take your week - and maybe sweeten the deal by paying transfer/closing as that is still far cheaper than one of these rip off post card company deals. Good luck.
Is that an Orlando Wastegate that is hard to give away for Christmas week? If so, I thought that was high season there.

It seems word is out and even an otherwise high demand time, if it has ties to anything Wastegate, cannot even be given away anymore outside of the pressure packed sales environment. Most are now wise to this group and their sales only, owner negative actions.

Facing bankruptcy - how relevant is the "heirs, executors,.." clause?

Hi, I need advice here. I am 62, facing bankruptcy IN THE UK, have 2 weeks in a Sheraton resort IN THE US but have been unable to sell it for the last year. The weeks are all paid up incl MF. I have owned this TS for 22 years and used it regularly but the resort doesn't want the deeds back and threaten that if I don't pay my heirs will be responsible (children now 18, 21, 24).

What is likely to be the real outcome as opposed the that threatened? My kids don't want the TS and don't have the resources to take it on.

Any help, comments or advice would be appreciated. I have read many of the comments on this site re TS owners obligations but there is no more money...

Not an expert or work in area that related to law, and never lived in UK before, but here is a website in UK talk about debt Relatives and Credit Card Debt After Death - Credit Card Answers (UK)

Looks to me it is very similar to US law.

So, if you die, your estate will be responsible for the debt, but your heir is not. If they decide to take responsibility while you still alive, that is another issue.

But you are only 62, live may still have a long way, since you say you will face bankrupcy, they will have to collect on you. You may want to check UK's banrupcy law first.

I have a TS, Royal Floridian Ormond beach FL. I will give it away, 2011 MFs are due soon and are about $500 plus taxes of $125. It is RCI Points and comes with 54,200 points.
if anyones wants it just pay 2011 MFs and cost to transfer the deed.
