Has anyone had any closings with the TimeShare Closing Services in Florida???
Just wondering if you know if they are honest or if anyone has had trouble with them...

    Thank you
    Pam

I used them with no problem a couple of years ago. Sometimes slow, but got the job done. If you are looking for an independent closing service, there should be others that are less expensive. If you are looking on ebay then this is the seller's closing company and you don't have a choice. And if you are looking on ebay, check the listings carefully -- make sure you are getting what you bid on.

The key question is, do they use a licensed attorney in the state where the timeshare is located to prepare the deed? If not, they are breaking the law, in some states, indeed, the criminal law. If a company is willfully breaking the law on a regular basis in its transactions, this should be a huge red flag not to deal with them. I have seen too many void deeds recorded by out of state timeshare closing companies which use laymen or even out-of-state attorneys to prepare deeds.

If an eBay seller tries to make you use such a company, I would raise the issue with the state Bar of the state where the timeshare is located. That should back them down.

I did 2 closings with them. They are slow and incompetent and I highly recommend that you find someone else.

We are trying to buy a Marriott resale. The broker uses Duncan Realty & Escrow. Has anyone else used them and can comment on their services? Thank you.......Jan

Timeshare Closing has provided proper closing services over ten times for weeks I have purchased over the last few years.
The can be more expensive then other services available.
Chicago Title in Escondido CA and First American Title in Las Vegas NV specialize in timeshare closings and are the oldest and most well known title companies in the United States.
If given a choice I would always use them.
Chicago Title charges $395 fee plus $100 to cover postage, recording fees etc.
Of course there is also a resort transfer fee at most locations that range from $0 to $750.
First American Title charges a little more but you get title insurance.
