Tampa area

Anyone know of any TS's in the Tampa area? My friend (and neighbor) will be working out of that area for several months. She would like to utilize TS's if it's a possibility. She does not own any TS's, but knows we do. Wyndham doesn't have anything around there.

I have looked at some of the rental exchange sites (RCI, DAE), but thought it might be best to ask the experts!!

Even if someone has info on a nicer long term hotel?

The only thing I've seen in Tampa itself is on RCI rentals. On the beach from Clearwater Beach to St. Pete beach are several timeshares, Also Sutherland Crossing which is in Crystal Beach (but not on THE beach) is a decent place. These aren't real easy trades.

I think she was thinking more toward renting if possible. even suite type hotels for extended stays...

Our kids rented a very nice house in Safety Harbor via vrbo.com a couple of times. Also JLB post a few days ago about Mainstay Suites in Tampa. See if you can find that thread.

ps. It might make a difference when she is coming and for how long. There are many snowbird rentals that would probably like to have someone in them in the off-season.
