  • Williamsburg in March??

We were thinking of going to Williamsburg the first week in March (2011). Has anyone been there in the winter months? Is it worth doing so? Thanks, Lyn

Seeing that you live in Ohio the weather in Williamsburg, VA will be milder, but by no means warm. Expect day in the upper 40s; nights in the mid to upper 30s. There have been unusual times when temps have been in the 60s, but don't count on it.

I live in VA and March is tricky for us. My daughter actually got married 2 yrs ago in March and we went through our personal photos to see what the weather had been in the past... hmmm snow one year and shorts and t's the next!! I know that doesn't help you much but I can tell you there is tons to do in that area and if you own a coat you will be fine!

I was there one week in March. A bit cool, a little rain and not the best time to go---but certainly not the worst. You might check if Busch Gardens is open and if so for what hours if that's on your agenda.
