    Global event specialists

Why am I being labeled as a shill? Is everyone who has something positive to say then labeled as a shill? I see that as soon as BOLTONUV made positive statements they are also being labeled as a shill. It seems to me that this website is strictly for negative comments??? Who is responsible for the comment in red lettering that has been attached to every one of my comments? If this is the administrator of the website, don't you feel that it is your responsibility to verify facts before making accusations or before allowing others to make such accusations on your website? I feel that the Administrator who has allowed me and BOLTONUV to be labeled as shills on this website is being very irresponsible.

Anyone saying anything positive about what appears to be a scam or con outfit is immediately suspect of being a shill. We have had too many shills try to con us to think otherwise.

Now that I am back in the U.S. after my vacation in Mexico, I am curious to see if I will still be labeled as a shill! I just signed another Contract with Global Event Specialists for one of my two remaining timeshare to be sold. And if they find a buyer for my third and final timeshare, I will sign a contract with them for that one too! What a negative group of people on this website. The complaints should be lodged against the Grand Mayan for charging such huge costs to resell these timeshares, not informing us of these excessive charges when we purchased, and hiding them in their papeerwork. They are the ones who make it so difficult to resell! GES was nothing but supportive and professional, and did exactly what they promised - nothing more and nothing less.

You were warned, yet you came back and posted more Shill info, you are now banned for life.

Wow, over a 2-1/2 month vacation in Mexico ! Sounds more like a timeshare salesperson back in the US on holiday/vacation.

I have to question this poster's legitimacy as well. Either very confused or leading the unsuspecting down the path to a scam. Read the last three posts quoted below. Also note that no specifics have been mentioned.

              1. GES does not have a business license in San Diego.
              2. The address given is only a drop box.
              3. A reverse check on the phone number given for GES indicates an unlisted number.
              4. In his opinion, GES is operating a SCAM.

We have terminated our interaction with GES. I strongly advise that everyone should consider that GES is a very sophisticated SCAM. We are registering a complaint with the Better Business Buseau. BEWARE!

When I confronted Global Event Specialists (GES) with my concerns about their authenticity, they (Marie) were quite concerned and provided me with a process to evaluate the authenticity of their business. This included the following:
              1. Their California business license number C200714510001. I checked it out at Business Search - Business Entities - Business Programs and indeed they have ben in business (as Global Events Consulting) since May, 2007. The lawyer of record is Clay Lorinski. I checked that indeed Mr. Lorinski as a practicing lawyer in good standing in California (Bar No. 115890).
              2. Marie provided me with a reference. I phoned this person and had a long conversation during which He assured me that he and his wife were very satisfied with the services of GES.
              3. I consulted with my own lawyer, and he assured me that the documents that I had been provided appeared to be legitimate for a sale of this type.

Based on the results of my investigations, my wife and I decided to proceed to complete the terms of the sale. The closing date is 15 November 2010. I'll post a message then to tell everyone what happened.

I will post a notice when the sale goes through. At this point, I am satisfied that GES seems to be handling the sale in a satisfactory manner.
