I purchased 2 getaways for a friend at Sheraton Vistiana a couple of weeks ago. The were consequtive weeks. Sometime during the first week she went to the front desk to request she stay in the same unit. They gave her a hard time - but gave in. Each was a 2 bedroom ressie - but one slept 6 and the other was 8. They gave her a hard time because the units were different - but eventually gave in.
But, the thing that intrigued me is that they kept on telling her that she wouldn't get the max points for the second week if they switched it. They knew this was an II trade because they made her call II.
So....the question.
Does anyone every get hotel reward points for their trades? Marriots, Starwood, etc?????
