  • Timeshare too much??

I had to laugh. My son will be taking a trip to AZ as a sports official. He will be placed in a hotel room for a few days. He's a college student living at home and his room looks like any other 18 yr olds....chaos.

I was standing in his room mumbling about he better not keep his hotel room in this shape...then it occurred to me...and I said out loud-Oh-but you will have daily maid service. He said, What? Really? I said, yes-hotels provide maid service.

I found it hilarious that he didn't know that. 2 bedrooms, 3 TV's and a full kitchen, but he only knows a mid-week tidy

VERY funny the things they take for granted (that kitchen for late night snacks) and the things they don't know about.
(maid service that is not mom)

He may never want to stay in a timeshare again!

Or will totally flip out when he realises how SMALL a hotel (only one room?) room actually is.

          That has been DS' response.

The first time older dd was aware of staying in a hotel room vs a timeshare she couldn't figure out a) where her room was, b) where her bed was (had to share with her sister, and c) felt sure she was going to starve to death since there was no kitchen.

Oh yeah-especially when they pack them in 4 to a room!

He has stayed in hotels-just not for an extended time. When they (the officials) go away for weekends-apparently the hotel doesn't clean until they leave. I said, Uh-yeah..Ya'll are slobs. I'd wait too.
