To the OP, mandatory AI is the kiss of death - do you want to visit a resort where u r paying $360 a day for your family of four???
Do not take this deal - sell your Mustang to someone else for the 30K it is worth.

As has been said - most of us here love timesharing - but this is probably not a good deal for you.

Mandatory All Inclusive explains the lack of "maintenance fee." They're happy to just give you the room. AI Mexico weeks have some of the lowest trading power in RCI. And the AI fees just keep going up.

        Help to sell

Doesn anyone know of anyone who is interested in buying 7000 points from me for bluegreen. The maintance fees are $764.00 a year and my husband was critically injured in a firefighting accident last september and it is impossible for us to use them and pay each year.
Please keep and eye out and anyone intersted contact me at 317-652-0194 or delanie@kw.com

        Thanks again

Thanks for all input. Judging by all the comment, this would not be the best decision. So I am going to hold off on this and seek another buyer.

          Thanks again,

          Ken

Maybe your buyer will be able to come up with the remaining funds...good luck.

              Welcome Delanie.

I am going to put this info over on our Bluegreen Forum for further help.
Do you owe any money on the ownership or is it paid off?
Also, which resort is your ownership deeded at?

This will help people decide if the ownership would work for them

There are 3 strikes against the OP's deal.

                1. It is a Mexican timeshare meaning that trading power will be low.

                2. It is during hurricane season for Cancun. You may may not be concerned about this but I did an October exchange in 2005 and left just the week before the big one, Hurricane Wilma hit. There was a severe tropical storm while we were there that stopped us from being able to do anything. After that, we have always gone in April.

                3. It is all inclusive. My exchange company will NOT accept AI resorts for deposit because of their limited appeal.

Those 3 things will make this timeshare virtually worthless.

I wouldn't buy a Mexican timeshare because it is very easy to exchange into at any time of the year.
