  • anyone tried end timeshare abuse?

My wife and I signed up for the wyndham scam a few years ago and I'm looking around for a cheap way to get out of it being unemployed now. I found this site (see title) and was wondering if anybody had used their services yet. I'm new to these sites so I would appreciate any advice.

    thx

This is their one page website. Judging by their comments it looks like it's a few guys that have had a few down the pub coming up with a foolproof way on how to get good money out of gullible people.
They admit they're not lawyers so how they going to know their way around the legal system.

    Don't even bother going there.

In the venue of a recent timeshare scam running that purports to get you out of your timeshare, but just really gets a bit more of your money.

I have no idea why we keep getting shill posters, It seems there is a new one every day. Want to bet we get 1 more new member come in and say they used them with great results.

Could be, but this poster seems legit to me. I may be naive. But I think the reason all these "services" are popping up is because people are desperately trying to cut expenses.

Some people are greedy enough to rob anyone and timeshare owners seem to fit the bill as being easy pickings.

Agreed. The OP just asked for help; no reason to think he's a shill.

                bear,
Do you still owe on the points? If so, your choices are to find a way to rent out the points to help pay the MFs, or to let it go and take the hit to your credit rating. If you own the points clear, you can get rid of the MFs by essentially giving it away; advertise here or at TUG in the cheap or freebie sub-boards.

Buying a Timeshare is like buying a new car in that, the instant ownership transfers, the value of the car tanks. You may not put any more miles on it that they did while it was on the lot, it may be clean and pristine, but you're not going to get what the dealer can. Unfortunately, in the current market, with Timeshares you can't get much at all, unless you have the time and resources to wait until someone willing to pay more comes along or unless you have something people particularly want (in the Bluegreen system, Big Cedar points are often worth more than the rest, because people want to use the underlying right to that particular week).

Any company that tells you differently, particularly if they demand a sizeable fee (hundreds or thousands of dollars) to "fix things," is most likely scamming you. If you can't use your ownership, a better approach would be to rent it out at a discount and recoup what you can until you're in a better position to use it yourself.

                Best of luck.

Since this is Wyndham, you may want to register in Wyndham forum (forums.atozed.com) and read this thread Wyndham Resorts Forums • Login. Look like Jim is fighting Wyndham on their saling practise. I don't know what happen to him, but you may want to try to contact him.

You can also read this thread (Wyndham's Sales Practices Openly Exposed To The General Public - Page 2 - Timeshare Users Group Online Community Forums) where SuedbyWyndham is the same one (Jim) in the above thread. You can try to contact him.

Before you take any action, make sure you are not paying and upfront fee. If he ask you for that, walk away.

Thank’s for your comments but…it is clear that I did not explain myself very well. I sent an email to endtimeshareabuse and they informed me that the prices on their site are what they consider reasonable values but do not apply at this time. They are offering their assistance free of any charges. So much for it being a scam.
Secondly, they informed me that they realize that they may well be sued for helping. There is one timeshare corp. that sued The Owners Advocate out of business and a similar ongoing suit can be found at mywyndhamlawsuit.com. That is only one of the reasons they wish to start a legal defense fund and insist upon legal backup.

My question was and still is, has anyone else contacted and have experience with, not guesses about, endtimeshareabuse?

So this company doesn't charge anything and by their own admittance may be sued for what they are doing? Doesn't sound like a very successful business model.

If anything sounds too good to be true, it probably is. If this occurs in the world of timesharing, it is virtually always a scam.
If someone comes out of nowhere and in their first post brings up something about a company in the the timeshare industry, they are probably a shill. If they say good things about something that sounds too good to be true, they are virtually always a shill.

This is an interesting series of posts. I see a lot of comments on scam alerts which is very good advice. I emailed the suspect company. Sure enough, I got an email back which answered many of the questions. Has anyone else emailed the organization to gather facts and information? I gather that they are new kids on the block, so to speak.

The reason they would be sued out of existence is because it is a scam operation set up to defraud. Why would you want to even consider doing "business" with them? Be aware that there are nw efforts underway to not only sue & close down these scam artists but to also charge & sue the USERS who take part in the schemes. You may find yourself facing costly civil and/or criminal proceedings if you choose to try this scam. It is known to be a scam operation (the general types of things they are proposing to be paid for) and Associations, Developers, resorts and law enforcement agencies are serous about shutting them down whatever it takes up to and including suing the users/owners. I'd avoid this risk. Far better to give away or transfer your ownership legally and be done with it.

                              TS agent?

Talk about your scary posts, this is one.
When reading any post one quickly learns that some are shills for the con-artists, others are TS employees paid to monitor these sites, and some are TS agents used to discredit, spread mis-information and otherwise say things to keep the sheeple ( noun: a human dumb as a sheep and just as easily fleeced of their money and their health ) confused and scared.
As someone who views the TS industry as a plague upon vacationers and a real estate swindle, I view this as a hit piece full of false and misleading information to keep the sheeple in their pens.
