Is this how I understand RCI weeks now?

I can deposit my week early and say get a trading power of 15! When I look up the purchase power of this week now, it is a 5! Does that mean if I exhange for (which is my original week) that I still have ten points and can pick up two more weeks for just a $179 exchange fee per week? Would be quite a deal wouldn't it?

That's assuming nobody picks up your week while you're waiting for it to be last minute. If it's a "dog" week, it might work out.

And a good deal for RCI - they get three exchange fees out of you for weeks that might otherwise go unoccupied.

If you get more for your deposit than it takes to trade into the same week, you are arguably ahead of the game. For now. Others are in the opposite position, being given less trading power for a deposit than it would take to trade into their own unit. The system is not perfect.
