We need your advice!

Hi There,

We have TS with Point to Point Destinations and they are selling our points to Vocation Internationale. We just got the contract with VI and I don't know what to do. I mean should I sign the new contract or is better to give up now. We are worried about the maintenance fee which is much higher than the last one.It is $7.08 per point which means we should pay $680 usd. The question is if they start increasing this fee more and more and then we are not able to give up easy. I want to ask if you can give me an advice and if you know more about Vocation Internationale and how do they increase their maintenance fee for last few years? If you stop paying this MF what will happen then? Thank you very much!!!

One salient point from one of the posters:
"If an owner chooses NOT to transfer to VI (by paying the $170 fee), their ownership simply ceases to exist. Poof. Gone. You would still be on the hook for an outstanding mortgage balance, but would have no further annual obligations."

Vacation Internationale

Has been around for about 30 years, the annual fee in 2009 was $6.95 per point, in 2010 $7.03 per point, 2011 $7.08 per point,so as you can see they are going up annually less than inflation.
If you want to keep your time, you have to join VI, if not, just let it go and it will cease to exist.
