Bluegreen Points Ownership

We purchased Bluegreen points directly from Bluegreen in 2009. We have, since, purchased some additional points from a friend. They're telling us that the additional points we purchased from a friend do not count towards 'premier' levels. Is that correct? If so, is there anything we can do to make them count toward premier levels. Also, is there any way to get them to combine the points so they all become available the same time of year?

That is true, you can add points like you did that will not add to premier. Those points need to be purchased either from BG or an authorized reseller which is Pinnical Vacations. They can also combine anniversary dates to one date. If you look for a member on this site who goes by BocaBum, Jim can help with this type of points addition and to combine the anniversary date, or at least he will be able to provide full and complete information.
