Hey guys, Im new to this website. I was wondering if you guys could give me some guidance as to where I should post to maximize exposure and leads for timeshare buyers. I currently inherited 5 four seasons units with Aviara and as beautiful as they are, it's too much for me to handle at the moment. Anyone know where they have the most success-vrbo? sellmytimeshare? anything else? Id really rather not use a broker b/c their commission rates are absolutely ridiculous. your help is much appreciated!

I'd say either here, Timeshare Users Group (TUG), Craigslist or eBay.
Be cautioned - if you try to 'sell' on eBay, you may wind up doing so for $1 and having to cover the transfer costs. It's a buyers market out there. No one can be exactly like me. Even I have trouble doing it. - T. Bankhead

Redweek.com is a good site for rentals and sales. There is a charge to view postings ($10 I think) so you get a greater percentage of serious inquiries.
This company specializes in sales and rentals of Aviara timeshares:
TRI West Timeshare - Buy a Timeshare, Sell a Timeshare or Rent a Timeshare
Be sure to keep one for yourself...
(maybe you could rent it to me sometime...!)

hey eal
thanks for the advice- what about vrbo? does that website get a lot of traffic for these kind of rentals? the posting price is quite high so i really want to make sure that it'd be successful- can anyone speak from experience?
and sure eal- we can definitely arrange a rental agreement. there are some weeks at the 2 bdrm premier that are currently open if (June 12-19 and Sept 9-11) if you're interested.
