I searched the forum pretty thoroughly for the info I was looking for, and I had no luck. So here is yet another post from a first time poster asking about values and selling and stuff.
What I have is a 155pt /year Timeshare at Palm Canyon Resorts (its part of Monarch Grand Vacations, but I don't seem to have that type of membership). The quarterly maintenance fees are 170. I received it from my parents who were tires of paying the fees and not using. And now I think I am in the same predicament LOL. I only paid a $100 transfer fee to receive the TS, so seeing all of these $500 plus fees to sell a TimeShare seem a little crazy to me.
I guess my questions would be. Why are these fees so high? What might my weeks be worth? Is there any value in trying to just rent my week every year, instead of selling?
And is there a recommended TS location/club/type that people who have a toddler seem to really like?
