  • I Love My Geo Holiday Ownership!!!

    Hi Everybody,

My name is Jeff Wonders and im sharing my awesome Timeshre experience with all of you. I've Been a Geo Holiday Owner since 1997 and i really enjoy my ownership!!! The best part about it is that its not like traditional timeshare to where you have to go places for a whole week...i cant often get the time off so i just do alot of mini's. Geo allows me to split my credits in to days at a time to cover all my needs. I love that its a credit based program, because it gets me alot more time for the amount of credits i own. where when as old timeshare was a flat week. Geo Holiday rolled out a new system through R.C.I that enables you to book any size unit, any time and any where i wanted for just 4,950 credits if i book under 30 days or less which now gives me 5 weeks of vacation when all i paid for my ownership was $5,000 back in 1997. Everytime i've tried to book it i've got it...and i have been all over the world...believe it or not my last trip was to Disneyworld with my 3 children and Geo Holiday booked me at the Disney Animal Kingdom villas in a 3 bedroom and it was in late August and it only cost me 179 for the week and 4,950 credits...now thats sweet!!! sorry i was so long i just wanted to share my joy!!

After reading your second post on your first day, I am convinced you are a salesman. There is nothing wrong with being a salesman, but at least own up to it.

Oh dear, how embarrassing! I have owned Geo for many years and my husband and I love the program, but not quite as effusively as ole Jeff here.

It is a Canadian points-based system similar to Worldmark or Wyndham, with close ties to RCI. They have great availability in Europe.

My latest discovery is that with leftover points (4950) members can buy a spacebanked RCI week that expires in 3 months, but with the new TPU combining option we can buy a few soon-to-expire weeks and then combine the TPU's for $105 CDN, that will now last for two years.

Anyways, a good deal for $1 on ebay but don't spend any more than that!

LOL< don't be embarassed.... it is good to know that it has worked for you.

As stated on this thread from last year http://www.timeshareforums.com/forum...-good-buy.html
there is a large descrepency between the 1BR maint fee quoted for US owners ($960) and what you pay in Canada ($600ish) and Geo was selling an EOY 1BR for $12,000.

Interesting about the "loophole" you discovered with the soon to be expired RCI weeks - hope it doesn't close.

            Cool, I adore loopholes.
... not enough time for all the timeshares ®
