Luxury Vacation Exchange - Anyone heard of them?

The guy seems legit but I'm skeptical of everything timeshare related these days. They sent me some paperwork that I thought about taking to an attorney to have looked at.

Basically they claim to be a finance company who makes their money on the financing. They contacted me and within a few days contacted me again claiming they had an offer. If I accepted the offer, they would get a deposit from the buyer and started the paperwork.

They said I would be responsible for title and legal paperwork fees. His company doesn't handle this, it is handled through ITR Service, Inc out of Florida. He claims the company has been in business for 11 years, but the only things I've found show less than a year.

The routine with scammers that act like this is to get you to send the money for the paperwork and/or legal fees, then the buyer supposedly bails out and you will not get your money back. There are few timeshare buyers out there and often you have to pay to give it away. If the offer is too good to be true, it's virtually always a scam.

It is a scam

It is so horrible... they just took me for $2250.00 so please don't go through what I have... they call and say they have a buyer - when they don't!

So please hope this helps - don't do it... wish there weren't people like this in the world! It is devestasting for my family - I am a mother of 5 - and thought I did some good research - definitely not enough!
