CTC is making their rounds again
I recently received a call from Corporate Travel Concepts, albeit it was in the form of a message on my answering machine. The caller was a woman named Lisa. She claimed that I had some Get Away weeks that would be expiring in March and had a client interested in buying them from me. There was a lot of talking in the background, no doubt other CTC people were on the phone with other time share owners.
This was the same scam that I heard about from a colleague at work. Being that I am a relatively new time share owner, I cannot believe that any benefits that have accrued as the result of buying a time share could expire so quickly. A representative from my time share confirmed my suspicion that Lisa's claim was bogus.
If Lisa or another representative calls again I will inform them that I am on the federal Do Not Call list and remove me from their files.
