  • So how would you structure it?

I just bought my 2nd timeshare...

Now i own a Wyndham Fixed week 27 lockoff and a Sheraton Broadway Plantation Biannual odd, 2br, gold plus

I HOPE FOR 4 Weeks a year of vacation...three driving distance to somewhere with my daughter(hopefully 2br family fun) during school break the fourth week a selfish week for just me...i can do anytime, anywhere

So i figure 2014 i'll use the Wyndham, 2013 i'll use the Sheraton and deposit the Wyndham with RCI...That takes one of the 'family' vacations

When i deposit my Wyndham with RCI it gives me 27 TPU's for one side and 26 TPU's for the other side...use 27 for two weeks in 2012 and 26 for two weeks in 2013

    So...

    2013
Sheraton Broadway Plantation (sometime between 27-35)
    26 TPU's = two weeks

    2014
    Wyndham week 27
    27 TPU's = two weeks

But i can't figure out how to structure it so i can go on my Selfish vacation every year....What am i missing? How would you set this up so you could get 4 weeks vacation a year?

Just a thought, and admittedly I don't have any experience working the RCI system, but I'm assuming that you could just take advantage of some of RCI's last minute vacations, or some of the last minute rentals that are advertised all over the place. Probably more realistic for you to sneak away last minute that it is to pull that off when a family is involved.

Guessing others will chime in with some ideas as to how to maximize your deposits, but although it might cost you a little OOP you may be better off using your deposits to get the trips you need, then pick up a cheapie for your solo trip to Hedonism
