Virginia Beach Timeshare research

No rush...I have not been to VA Beach in many years-it was before TS. Stayed north end at The Belvedere. Now that I own TS's, at some point in the future I will be going on a vacation to VA Beach.

Question in your experience;
1.which TS in VA BEACH is directly ON the beach
2.very clean
3. has a pool

I do not want to pay for parking either...

There are many TS's in VA Beach but I would like to know about your recent experiences. I was able to check out some TS in Virginia Beach- they are Villas at the Boardwalk, , The Colony, Ocean Beach Club, Four Sails, Beach Quarters, Ocean Sands, Barclay Towers...I did not include these which were not directly on the beach-The Atruim, Turtle Cay and Ocean Key Resort. Found most have pools which are indoor or outdoor.

Anyone gone to any of these timeshares in the past few years?

It's been quite a while since I took a tour there, but they seemed to have the smallest rooms I've ever seen in a timeshare.

Only been 2 recently.

Four Sails and Ocean Sand.

Ocean Sand was in the middle of refurbish last year. Similar style and design but newer equipment. Don't know if they finished all or not.

Four Sail feels particular small, and look like has not be refurbuished for a while. Very small kitchen. The unit I have have windows overlook either the ocean (living room) or street (bedroom). But I don't believe all the units are like that way. Although I believe all the units are facing the ocean. It has an indoor pool.

Ocean Sand I have made 1 change, the unit I first stay was old one, and has some sound proof issue, plus when the neighboor has close to 20 people in their room at middle of the night like 2 am, plus it is part of the lockout so there are places where the only divider is one door, it does not help. The changed one is new remodeled one, and has no sound issue, but don't know if it is because they add extra sound proof or just because the neighboor went to bed earlier. It has indoor pool also.

I don't believe I paid any fee for parking.

As to cleanness, I think it is O.K. Old unit usually can not compare to new unit in that stand. And TS unit usually is harder to compare to hotel since they clean every day and usually no food or less food consume in room. But both palces are reasonable kept.

Both resorts' front desk are pretty helpful. Both has free Wi-Fi in room.

Ocean Sand is at South end, Four Sail is close to North end. Not that make too much difference. Although more stores are close to Four Sail, but walking is not really that bad for me. And drive is really a short distance and not that bad at Spring Break, although enough traffic

I got both at MD Spring Break time, I don't believe you can get one at Summer time without some serious luck and work.
