That was asked of me last night by a doctor in a first-time conversation at a social gathering.
If I had a dollar for every time I've heard that, I could buy a place at the lake, a winter place in Florida, and belong to the nicest local country club.
Just among three people there last night, I know there are 15-20 weeks that they would like to unload.
Wouldn't it make more cents for associations to take back unwanted weeks and rent them out while offering them for resale than to fight owners through legal channels (where they ultimately get them back, but after considerable expense to other owners)?
Or would news of that open the flood gates?
