PayScale - Resort Manager Salary, Average Salaries
Look like it is about 26k to 90k depends on how senior you are. And you probably will see night shift/day shift.
But I believe resort management fee is based on a fix % of total maintenance fee which is usually defined in the contract, the management company then decide the salary of their employee. So it will depend on the contract (how long it last, what % of cut and % of increase per year it specific)

I don't know what the resort manager gets, but the manager our community of 966 homes hired is paid $160,000 a year. there are ten hoa's which have their own boards and take care of landscaping, etc.
there is a golf pro who hires pro shop staff and an outside company to do golf course maintenance. He also hires a restaurant manager, who hires the restaurant staff. I would think he has less work than a timeshare resort manager who has to also be concerned about the individual units

Smaller resorts often pay managers in the 20s. I think size of the resort is one of the main factors in the level of pay.
If you are thinking of running for an HOA board, ask for a copy of the current budget. That should tell you what the salary is. I would also prep by reading the directors minutes for the last couple of years. As an owner, you are entitled to see all of that and to copy it as well. You are also entitled to a membership list with addresses, which may come in handy for a board campaign.

I'm glad you mentioned this, Carolinian, because one of our timeshare board's has stated that state law forbids it from handing out a membership list with addresses.
For a fee, they are willing to mail any campaign literature to members. The last time anyone paid the fee, the ballots went out one week before the literature. Many of us voted before receiving the campaign literature.
I'll provide the names of the timeshare and the State via PM, if anyone can shed any light on this. I've always found it an odd statement.
