Please Help - Need to Rescind

Hello Everyone,

I'm new here and I need help.

We just got conned into signing on for Wydham resorts during my trip to Las Vegas. I should have gone with my gut feeling. We signed the Contract 2 days ago.

We just got back to Canada today and we decided to rescind, we were told we had 5 calendar days. We have sent in a registered mail requesting signature. It should get there in 2 days. Probably Monday or Tuesday.

I'm just worried that the letter will not be enough. What else can we do to make this go away. I really like the idea of timeshare but I'd like to start it after I have done the right research.

I live in Toronto far away from Vegas, I feel helpless. Is there anything else I can do and what rights do I have.

According to all the posts I've read previously, there should be instructions you need to follow exactly somewhere in your paperwork.

Yes I followed the instructions and mailed the letter. I'm just wondering whether I need to do more.
I also want to return their bag and documents, should I return it to the address on my contract for revocation? Any ideas.

I searched the forums and I am yet to find out whether people were actually ableto successfully rescind the contract.

Don't worry. People rescind from Wyndham all the time. I have done it myself. Just follow the instructions in your paperwork exactly and you should be fine.
