    I am thinking of purchasing a harborside resale, plat season, 148,100 points. maitenance fee $2800 yearly. broker claims $2200 closing cost due to bahamas. is this true??

    Wanted to know of any concerns or issues that i should be warned about, specifically for purchasing a starwood timeshare& at harborside.

    I have heard, its difficult to get different weeks, then the purchased one.

    how difficult is it to get other weeks in other starwood properties?

    I realize there are no star points, but are the staroptions allowed for II

    Visit Harborside Closings - Resort closing specialists. and enter your information for a quote.

    StarOptions transfer on this property, but it makes no sense to pay for Harborside and use it as options. Westin Kierland Villas is the best value for annual fees on a 148,100 staroptions ownership.

    Buy Harborside to use at Harborside! Buy a strong week, and if you don't use it focus on rental to recover the high maintenance fee. You can rent many Starwood weeks for less than the annual fees you are going to pay.

    This is one of the few closings that is "legitimately" done using power of attorney forms. Before doing anything, call the closing company I provided above to ask questions about the process. It can be quite confusing, and you want to make sure the closing agent you use understands what needs to be done.

      Not to contradict Rikki (just in case I do) but you MUST use a Bahamian Attorney for the closing hence the $2,000+ fee. I have read this repeatedly on a dedicated Starwood Owners BBS.
