  • Wyndham Fixed Week Help

    Greetings All,

Another elevated blood pressure conversation with Wyndham / RCI today as I found out the booking fee increased and RCI now used points instead of weeks.

I have been trying to dump this timeshare for a while but all research shows it will end up costing me money as it is virtually worth nothing, I cant give it away as nobody wants it. I like using the time we have and just got back from Italy but it is becoming cheaper to travel "Ala Carte" so to say. One vacation costs $1200 a year for a weeks accommodations.

I don't want to call Wyndham and ask as then the phone doesn't stop ringing with offers and pushy salespeople, I rather tell them what I want.

I guess I am asking what are my options? Is there anything that I can covert my timeshare into to make it more affordable? Any help would be greatly appreciated

You can call Corporate Direct at 800-786-6764 and Convert to points for about $2500...But i don't know if its worth it for you without knowing what resort/week you own

I also own a Wyndham Fixed week, but because its a lockoff during a prime week...its worth alot of TPU's and i wouldn't think about converting it

Call the how to see if you can deed them back.

If not, check link here to see if there is a charity willing to help you get rid of it.

You can also try ad in eBay.

If really desperate, there are some semi scam companies that will ask you to pay in front, make sure you study how to protect yourselves first, before you take that route.
