A potential buyer from the UK has told me the following:

"once we receive information back from the people that we have contacted to act upon our behalf, we shall, I am sure, be back intouch with you with an offer..... "

I don't understand why someone else is acting on their behalf. Does this make sense to you?

It makes perfect sense. They are setting you up for the now classic "overpayment" scam.

Stop dealing with them.

If you deal with them make sure you use an escrow account. Do not take Western union or a money order for more than the amount.

I get these all the time in response to my TUG ad - walk away, not a real offer.
