If you asked a salesperson what their exit strategy is, what do you think their honest answer would be? I mean if they just said what they really think, rather than the convoluted schpiels they give.

I'd bet the average salesman has no idea what the real resale value is of what they sell. They don't exactly go by a script, but they are told what they need to know by their bosses and I'd be surprised if most research any more then that.

There finally has been a lawsuit filed against the postcard companies by a resort. Perhaps state AGs will take notice and begin looking at them a bit.

Pam Bondi certainly has.

The bad thing about prosecuting resale and disposal companies is that it takes the focus off the sins of the legitimate industry.

The fact that there are disposal companies should be a warning to avoid timesharing in the first place.

If a salesperson was honest , I believe they would answer a question about exit strategy by simply saying, "I don't care."
