  • Ownership in Williamsburg or Massanutten?

So i currently own a 2br lock-off fixed week 27 at Wyndhams Patriots Place in Williamsburg, it gets me 27 TPUs for one Side and 26 TPU's for the other...BUT the MF's are $816 a year and will only be going up from there....I've been using this mostly to trade into other Williamsburg resorts....While the MF's aren't that high, 'a penny saved is a penny earned' and i'd like to pay as little as possible for my trips

I took a trip to Massanutten this Presidents week and stayed in a Woodstone unit and really liked all the amenities available and the size and setup of the rooms...While searching online i see that there are currently 2 4br Woodstone units for sale out there, they are both fixed week 7(presidents week) one an Every Odd year with a (listed)MF of $355 a year and one an Every Year with a (listed)MF of $695 a year...But these units only get 18TPU's per side, which would be a big drop in Trading power IMO

    Soo onto my Question...Would you

Give away the Patriots Place and buy the EOY Woodstone
Give away the Patriots Place and buy the EY Woodstone
    Keep the Patriots Place

Keep the Patriots place, Massanutten is an easy trade, your MF's aren't THAT bad

Get rid of the Patriot Place and take the EOY Massanutten, the dramatic MF drop is a good thing!

Get rid of the Patriots Place and take the EY Massanutten, even a small drop in MF is a positive

Get rid of the Patriots Place & Don't buy either Massanutten, you shouldn't own if can't afford $816

Maybe if i look just at the Numbers?

    Patriots Place
    $816/53 = $15.40 per TPU

    Woodstone EOY
    $355/18 = $19.72

    Woodstone EY
    $695/36 = $19.30 per TPU

Yah, that doesn't help convince me...But if i can lower my MF's from $816 to $695 thats a savings of $121 a year...That savings covers my RCI membership, but not any of the trading fees
