It's not typical to lock up meds but it should be. In my area foster parents are required by law to lock up meds. Just like the requirement for foster parents to learn CPR, it's a good idea for all parents to do, it's just not yet common.
Also, I'm betting many people who have safes aren't sharing that info, even with friends. It's not exactly a good idea to tell everyone if you have $50,000 in cash and a ton of Oxy, kwim?
Anyway, I just thought it was odd that the hotel part of a resort would have safes but the TS part didn't. I don't really care, personally, because if I need a safe I can buy a small portable one. Just thought it was odd.
