Our home resort now is in Daytona, trying to get something close to home(R.I.) Just returned from Atlantic City 4hr drive. Saw the Fantasea on a sales pitch. Of course we saw the top of the line units. But we like the beach and the casino nightlife and close to home. Now trying to find the right sale for a June timeframe. We have a float week with our timeshare now deeded every year 1-52 looking for the same in Jersey

If it's a resort that you like and will mostly use and is close to home then it sounds like you have found your new home.
I own mid summer weeks at a local resort too and always use my weeks.
I bought them both on ebay.
I suggest you set up an advanced search on ebay and the system will alert you when your resort is available.
Then you can always contact the seller and get more details on the unit and call the resort to verify the condition and location of the unit you are considering.
It's always a good idea to do you due diligence yourself.
See if you can get a site map of the units so you will know exactly what you are buying.
That might be on their website.
I know at my home resort the website spells out which unit is where.
I'd also call the resort and talk to the front desk as opposed to the sales people.
They are two different animals with two different agendas.
Our resort has sales people hounding the fresh meat but does not deal with the resales.
The front desk keeps a print out of all the units for sale and the contact info.
They aren't involved in the sales they just provide the info as a service.
You are then free to contact those owners and buy it directly.
P.S., - Welcome to the forum Saturn.

Thanks for the welcome. I do frequent forums such as this (trip advisor) etc. Many nice people like yourselves give valuable information to people who other wise would not know. Seems like I am looking for a lot floating week 1-52 and a good unit, but I will keep looking at all you have provided me. I appreciate all info that can be provided to me

Saturn take your time.
You want to be sure what you buy will be the right fit.
It's easy to purchase a timeshare but difficult to get rid of one.
Not impossible but difficult.
You can avoid that by taking your time and studying your resort.
Look at it as a lifetime commitment. Well almost a lifetime commitment.
