But, I commend you for the speed at which you jump all over that.

    One hour and ticking.

I really think you know why anyone would post about Wyndham rentals on the RCI board, or what the phrase "Why buy the cow" means.

But then, if I had a goat, and only need milk, I would not need to buy the cow.

Moving on, an hour being sooooooo long sometimes.

&, and of course, if you become lactose intolerant, 6 cows is way too many.

Well don't forget to take your toys home with you while you stomp out of the sandbox.

Well, I give y'all credit for piling on. Y'all are good at that.

So, if I post on someone else's thread, I'm off topic and negative, but if I start my own, it's declared off-topic and y'all pile on.

        Nice sandbox.

I'm surprised that those who posted somewhat in agreement with my thoughts in this thread had the courage to do so.

I have discussed this with DW, the Boss, and we both agree that we are looking forward to being able to use RCI and not own anything.

Just cause you start throwing sand on the other side of the sandbox doesn't mean that we aren't going to get hit with your sand.

Oh, & if anyone believes RCI or any timeshare-related company only rents offseason, less-valued weeks, that certainly is dilusional.

Those prime Snowbird weeks stopped showing up in the Spacebank when the rentals began.

But, then, anything more than $199 is more than an exchange, so every deposit is fair game.
Oh, I realize they rent prime season too but it is typically the off season stuff that they rent for less than the MF's. RCI might get the inventory for free but if they think they can make more money on a week, they will charge it.

Is it really RCI flooding the market or is it everyone who deposits and off season week and then wants to exchange elsewhere or the developer who bulk deposits the excess weeks? RCI is flooded with offseason weeks and weeks in overbuilt locations and to move them they offer multiple sales of $199-$250 Or tpu's slashed to 4-6 Or buy an extra vacation anywhere at regular price and get a selected second extra vacation free (in an off season and/or overbuilt location).

So for those that don't want a second home in SW Florida, buying a few weeks in a SW Florida timeshare during snowbird season might still make sense.

A new sandbox rule: Everything has to be personal.

Those with the power to do so, feel free to delete this thread, as it must offer nothing of value to the several guests I have noticed looking in on it.

We are not deleting this thread.
I have however, moved it to General Timeshare Discussions since it is not specifically about RCI but Wyndham.

Stop the personal attacks/taunting of "the powers that be" -continuing to do so will result in more infractions and possible ban.

And I have added "timeshare villa rentals' to the title as OP posted a Wyndham Rental Site unrelated to RCI
