The Timeshare Consumers Association, based in the UK, was for many years a strong voice for timeshare members, only to fall into inactivity at the sudden death of its tireless chairman, Sandy Grey. Now, under new leadership it has been revitalized to continue its mission on behalf of timeshare members. Here is part of an email I recently received from the United Kingdom Resort Exchange, one of the exchange companies I use:
''Over recent years many members have called us to express concerns about activities within our industry and more recently many of these concerns have escalated almost out of control and are simply not being addressed by independent resorts and governing bodies. Well now is an opportunity to get your voice heard and share with other owners and listening bodies across the UK.
Since the sad news of Sandy Grey’s passing (who’s legacy has helped thousands of owners) The Timeshare Consumers Association has been revitalised and is now under new management and we are pleased to announce they are undertaking many Road Show’s throughout the UK during the month of September and you will find listed below the dates and locations together with some of the topics being discussed.
Ann Blyth from UKRE will be in attendance at the Scottish venues and has been asked to participate in a 20 minute talk and will of course join in the many debates and she is hopeful that she will be able to attend some of the venues in England as well''.
