My elderly aunt (86) owns 2 timeshares Palm springs that are paid for and she owns one in San Francisco that she owes about 10k. When she asked about selling her 2 in Palm Springs, she was told she could not sell those until she paid off the San Francisco unit. Any thoughts about her rights to sell her "owned" units. thanks

But if each ownership is individually deeded and the loan is only on the San Fran ownership, there should not be a problem in selling/giving away the other ownerships,
If your aunts Palm Springs ownerships are at one of the Marriott's or Westin Resorts, they would still have some value depending on season/time of year they can be used. But if there are at smaller, independent resorts, you might have to just give them away. Sometimes with these smaller resorts, the resort itself has an active HOA that will help you sell to other owners at the resort who might want more time.
You can post your For Sale/Giveaway weeks here for free and several other sites we can tell you about.
To check the actual value, go to eBay and check the completed auctions for your resorts.
And posting the name of all three resorts would help us to better answer your question.
