  • If you own Silverleaf with Endless Escape

I have been working with various people with Endless Escape one guy has never changed his deed and owned since 1998 and said they would down convert on his deed to free sunday - thursday free and friday and saturday $50. I am not sure who he talked to at silverleaf but this does not sound right his deed is super old. I talked to several people in member services and they stated on really old deeds the endless escape would transfer. I know online there is a huge misunderstanding on this as many say all developers benefits would be stripped but when speaking with member services they stated sometimes endless escape will transfer and sometimes it will not.

According to the representatives I have spoken with it states in the contract whether the developers perks transfer at the time of resell where does it state this??

    Oh yeah, welcome.

I was waiting for someone to say that, but it looks like I'm the only one around. Well, except for Bruce. I'm sure Bruce welcomes you, too.

I don't have much to offer you on this topic, but I do request that you not allow the inconsiderate and inappropriate remarks of one of our members to make you feel unwelcome here. Your questions are more than fine and more than appropriate, and I hope that other members who are more helpful and considerate will respond helpfully and graciously.
“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

      “You shouldn't wear that body.”

I am sure that if anyone has a contract that explicitly states that the Endless Escape would transfer upon resale then the developer would honor it. I think there could be contracts like this out there. The question then is the one you are looking at one that has that stipulation in the contract. If not then I would expect the benefit to be lost when sold, but not if transferred to or willed to a direct family member (the management defines this but always includes children and surviving spouse, and often includes child to parent- any relation beyond that is up to the discrepancy of the developer/management co. From my understanding is most if not all who have the benefit and purchased resale have it due to an oversight or a mis-coding of contract info not that they bought a deed that specifically and explicitly documented the benefit transfer on resale.
