    So what happened with RCI?
This is just way too many problems.
They need to refund you everything, TPU's and exchange fee.

Don't take no for an answer. Go up the food chain if you have to.
And post pictures of this mess on Facebook or on the resorts Tripadvisor page.
I would be on a first name basis with the manager of the resort by now.
    Squeak your wheels.
They should be bending over backwards to help you guys with all the problems your room has.
    Isn't this a Diamond resort?

RCI says it really is a resort problem. Chris you warned me to wait and take a better place.

I did? I'm sort of an Orlando resort snob.
There are just so many great resorts in Orlando, there really is no point in staying at anything with crappy reviews.
Next time try to get Bonnet Creek.

So who did you speak to at RCI? A Supervisor?
If not I'd call back on Monday. Take pictures of everything.
Sad to say but sometimes you have to shame a resort to get any action.
I'd definitely give the manager on duty one last chance to resolve things but if not,
then oh well, Tripadvisor and RCI dings are so deserving at this point.

They could have given you two smaller 2 bedrooms if they didn't have any more 3 bedrooms.
Orlando was not busy this week. Even DVC was pretty empty. I was at Animal Kingdom resort and OKW.

Is this reservation located in the HOA controlled phase, or in one of Diamond's units (Grandevillas)?

I would hope that Cypress Pointe means Cypress Pointe and not Grande Villas.
Diamond still has units at Cypress Pointe not just Grande Villas.

              i don't think Diamond,
when we left this morning, the burner would not turn off we found that you must put it on #3 heat to turn it off. we called and told them, and left it in writing, hope a house cleaner does not get burned.

also the dryer that would not work in our unit, wa traded out for another unit, so someone else will check in and have the problem.

I didn't mention this, but it has been bothering me. we checked in on saturday night.
Sunday at three o'clock I called maintenance as we had no ice. no one came.
I called at six, someone came, looked in it, went and got a bucket of ice, and left,
At nine thirty, two maintenance men came to our room, asking if another maintenance man was there. They had communication devices on them, and i thought this was very strange.

When WM had a HyperMart in KC, one of only two they built, I believe, it was HUGE.

We heard that some employees clocked in, left, and came back to clock out, and no one ever missed them, cuz no one ever knew they worked there..
