  • Owners' List

    Email I received today:

    "Hi,

Would you be interested in acquiring an email list of “Timeshare Owners” from USA?

We also have data for Resort and Spa visitors, Travelers, Golfers, Condominium Owners, Building Investors, Home Owners, Mortgage, Estate Planners, Real Estate Investors, and many more…

Each record in the list contains Contact Name (First, Middle and Last Name), Mailing Address, List type and Opt-in email address.

All the contacts are opt-in verified, 100% permission based and can be used for unlimited multi-channel marketing.

Please let me know your thoughts towards procuring the Timeshare Owners List.

    Best Regards,"

      Most people don't need that.

Besides, timesharing is great! I love it.

I have been aware of fired staff stealing HOA membership lists, and a failed management company offering for sale their ''client list'' which included owner lists in resorts they managed, exchangers who traded in, and renters. These lists get out.

In most states, HOA's are non-profit corporations, and as such have to provided a list of members to other members during certain time frames around the annual HOA meeting. On those, there are legal penalties for members using the list for purposes other than contacting other members on HOA issues or providing it to third parties, but I suspect that lists get out that way, too.

this explains why I have received calls to sell my timeshare at a resort I exchanged into many years ago.

I love my timeshare and the places I have exchanged to stay at, even the older places are fun and make for great stories when you get home.
