Is there a board on this forum where sightings of hard to get timeshares are posted?

Yes. There is a minimum post requirement, or you can make a contribution. Someone will be along shortly to explain it.

Pretty much the same as a certain other forum, I believe.

Once you have hit 30 posts, you will gain access to the sightings board.
Also, you can contribute to the site (it costs money to maintain) and instantly gain access.

They are called ex ops here, Exchange Opportunities, and they have been a little slow lately. I assume the resident ex opers are busy with other things.

Maybe you can hurry up 25 more posts, and pick up the slack.

Generally speaking, ex ops are meant to be desirable exchanges that other forum users may be interested in, so that they can grab them before someone else does.

Stuff like South Seas Plantation Beach Club or anywhere on the beach in SW FL in January.

FWIW, I used to do Sightings, because I used to be able to see all the stuff available (circa 1999-2004), back when you could only see all the stuff available if you could get it.

Now, after the classaction lawsuit and the redoing of RCI Weeks, all I see in Ex Ops is stuff we no longer could get if we wanted. Of course, no one can get the stuff we really wanted, and used to get every year, because it's no longer available to anyone.

See, it worked out, because we no longer need what we can no longer get.
