Attended Bluegreen presentation today

Here is my question. The salesman at Bluegreen stated that "bonus" time can only be obtained by purchasing the timeshare points through them. If you buy resale, you cannot take advantage of the $39, $49, $59, or $69 room offers. He also stated that if you buy resale, you will only be able to use the timeshare points for resorts that were available at the time of the original purchase. You would not be able to stay in any of the new Bluegreen resorts that were purchased or built after the original timeshare owner purchased the points. Is this accurate information.

Again I have three days to cancel my purchase.

If you purchased from the developer RESCIND immediately. Follow the directions to the letter on your paperwork.

The brain-trust here can help you get those "benefits" at a fraction of developer pricing.

Send me a PM with your telephone number or email address and I will tell you the facts regarding bonus time. You can absolutely get bonus time on a resale purchase. I need to talk to you about the pros and cons of various approaches. There are several ways to get it each of which have various risk levels of losing it in the future.

The Bluegreen Vacation Club allows you to use your points at any of their resorts, whether or not they currently exist in the club.

Of course, the newer resorts will require more points, but you could still vacation there.

Also, Bonus Time is going up $10 per night.
