Looks like Redweek finally realized they needed to do something about the reduced traffic and ads as a result of their high price model.

"If a Nation expects to be ignorant and free in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.... If we are to guard against ignorance and remain free, it is the responsibility of every American to be informed."
-- Thomas Jefferson to Col. Yancey, 1816

Thank you very much as I am going to sign up right now and post my first ad. I don't like price control and believe in letting the market set the price. It always works at the end!!!

John, I looked all over the web site but didn't find the special. If I received an email from Redweek, then I deleted it because we get too many emails every day.

Did you get an email or where did you find this special? Please let us know. TIA.

Thanks for this one. I too always delete my junkmail before I even read it. I posted two of my resorts and am crossing my fingers.

Well, I just adjust my asking prices to cover listing fees and paypal fees. The 30 bucks or so I pay to be a member and list one of our weeks is maybe 1.5% of the gross revenues, so it's easy to compensate for. Of course, the more weeks one lists under their membership, the less the overall fee/membership percentage becomes.

Also, for Marriott owners, there are alternatives for exchanges and rental listings like ownertrades.com.... I imagine other mini-systems/resort groups have similar low-cost opportunities as well.
