  • Upfront fees to list your timeshare

Hi All, I am attending a "Timeshare Resale Think Tank" that ARDA is having in WA DC Nov. 1-3 and would like to hear from you if you have ever paid any company an upfront fee to sell your timeshare for you. I would like to know things like: Who the company was, what you paid, what you feel you received for your money, and what you would like ARDA to do about companies that do business this way. This is the time to let your voice be heard as we would like to, once and for all, memorialize what we really think as timeshare owners of these types of business practices. I want to hear from you if it was a success too...if they actually sold your timeshare and if there were no other fees, or if there were commissions on top of the upfront fee when it sold...
You can email me at reseller@timesharewholesalers.com or send me a fax at 206-870-8873. Let me know what they said that made you think it was a good idea to give them the money up front- and how you feel about it after it is all said and done. Thanks!

I never paid an upfront fee to a reseller to sell a timeshare. I have paid a minimal ($10) fee to list on a site though and was sucessful there both renting and selling. Anyone who pays a substantial fee is very likely to be scammed and anyone who says they did and their week was sold is immediately suspect of being a shill for the reseller being mentioned.
